The Women's Fund of El Paso would like to express our gratitude to the many sponsors and dedicated volunteers who made Power of the Purse 2007 at Olo Gallery an amazing success. We were able to raise more than $80,000 in scholarships, which will be used to improve the lives of women from all over El Paso. The Women’s Fund of El Paso has awarded five scholarships since Power of the Purse, and eighteen scholarships to date. From donating handbags to setting up for the event, our volunteers worked tirelessly to put together an October 4th event that was fun and worthwhile.
