Susan Melendez joined Inter National Bank as Executive V.P. and Business Development and Operations officer in the El Paso Region in 2000. She began her 28-year banking career with El Paso National Bank, currently JPMorgan Chase, where she held a broad range of positions including accounting, commercial and consumer loan operations, and business development.
She has been active in leadership roles in the community including the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce, Trustees-Del Sol Medical Center, YWCA Paso del Norte Region, YWCA El Paso Foundation, Visiting Nurse Association, El Paso Center for Children, Women’s Fund of El Paso, FEMAP Foundation, Boy Scouts-Yucca Council, Paso del Norte Group, and Regional Economic Development Corporation. She has been active with the UTEP-Business Advisory Council, American Cancer Society, Center Against Family Violence and Leadership El Paso.
Susan graduated from UTEP with a BBA in Accounting and is a licensed Texas CPA. A native El Pasoan, Susan is married to Stephen L. Meador and has two children.
